Weybridge, His Dressing Room

The wet look, high gloss finish required 2 base coats and 9 top coats all lovingly applied and polished in our workshops. The gloss timber finish was matched by the high quality chrome handles that were chosen for their masculine touch.

For this very masculine dressing room, Fumed Eucalyptus veneer with a narrow string line of Japanese Box wood was selected. The lacquer finish that was to be used on this furniture had to be able to enhance and reflect the exotic qualities of the marquetry beneath.

​The internals of the wardrobes and the display section were lined with Walnut and lacquered to a medium luster. The display shelves are 8mm glass that are lit from the sides where as all the Walnut shelves in the rest of the dressing room have front edge lighting strips.​
