The clients both worked as city executives and wanted more of a country style rather than a Victorian kitchen for their home. The brown oak that was chosen with all of its character and colour helped to achieved this.

The wine rack at the end of peninsular was specifically made to take the larger Champagne bottles but shortly after the kitchen was finished and after starting a family the Champagne rack was repurposed into a shoe rack for tiny feet.
